Thank you so much. An opening question. We're going to jump right in. Why does theology need philosophy?

Who needs all that abstract stuff? Yeah, and of course, that takes us right to the heart of the book of, you know, the relationship

between philosophy and theology, right? From the beginning, I always like to start with

St. Paul, of course, in Acts chapter 17, where he goes to the Aeropagus in Athens. And, you know,

it says the scripture tells us he met with Epicurean and Stoic philosophers, and he tells them, you have a statue to an unknown God.
