0:00.0 | Welcome back. It's the big blue banter. New York Giants football podcast. I'm Dan Schneier. Join |
0:07.3 | is always my host, Nick Vallado in the doldrums of June. 97 degrees out today when we're recording this. Don't know when it will drop. |
0:16.6 | Heat wave is miserable. Nick, that's only way I can describe it. It is so hot everywhere. You can't really do anything outside. I tried to go on like a little run this morning, and it was just because I've been starting my day with like a walk, jog run thing. Just terrible. I couldn't do it. I did it, but I was sweating a storm up. So in the meantime, we're going to try to bring you some Giants content. I know it's been a while, probably maybe our longest break ever between podcasts. But the fact of the matter is, it's June, Nick and I aren't really in the business of forcing content. We don't want to just, you know, do things to do things. That's kind of been our goal with this podcast since the start of it. |
0:54.3 | I think Nick and I have always been on the same page. |
0:56.4 | Like, we're going to provide good content, good analysis on things that we don't just repeat |
1:00.7 | ourselves on or, you know, consider fodder. |
1:03.4 | So today, this is not a serious thing that we're breaking down after giving that little |
1:08.9 | intro, but it's a fun thing. |
1:10.7 | It's something that I think can spark some decent conversation other than like at mini camp practice number three, Jackson Dart threw a five yard out and it was a touchdown to juice Wells or whoever the hell it would be a touchdown too. So we're going to go over some stuff today. And then as we move forward, we'll have some different ideas. I would say this, Nick, I haven't discussed this with you, but I would say this to the audience. If you have any fun ideas or things you want us to cover or content and build training camp, put in the comments. Let us know. Give us some ideas. I'm not above that, Nick. I am not at all above that. I don't think that's a, I would love to crowdsource ideas. And it's not like, dude, I can come up with a bunch of different ideas that you and I can do. And there's, and our schedules have been all over the place. And there are a lot of ideas that Dan and I want to discuss with everybody. But if I get crowdsourced to the audience and then have the bunch of them like the idea, then I would absolutely love that, get them involved. This is collective over here, ladies and gentlemen. This isn't just about Dan Schneier and Nick Falado. It's about the big blue banter family, baby. Yeah, so if you guys have ideas that you like, that'll give us a better idea of what to cover in obviously, this is only just up until camp. Once camp starts, we'll have the normal content you've been getting every year for the last four years. It's going to be constant. Every day type of stuff, it's going to be fun. There's actually stuff to cover. But we got a month until then to try to kill time and do fun stuff and have fun conversation. So that's something you guys can probably help us out with, let us know. So today is what we hope to be a fun conversation. |
2:37.1 | Every year, Philly Beat Reporter, one of the more prominent beat reporter, |
2:40.9 | Jimmy Kemski, comes up with X reasons. |
2:44.0 | The Giants will be a dumpster fire this season. |
2:46.6 | Jimmy has been hitting the last few years, last several years, Jimmy, except a high batting |
2:52.6 | average that Jimmy. |
2:53.5 | Guys just hitting. |
2:55.1 | But, you know, some of it seems ingest. |
2:57.8 | Some of it seems like pot shots at the Giants that we're not a huge fan of. |
3:01.4 | And ultimately, our goal today is to go through each one of his reasons why the Giants |
3:06.0 | will be a dumpster fire in 2025. |
3:12.7 | And assess if we think there's a validity to it, if we think it's fair, and then kind of unpack the case for how he could be wrong and how the Giants can kind of avoid being that dumpster fire. |
3:17.6 | So, Nick, without further ado, let's get into Jimmy's 10 reasons the Giants will be a dumpster |
3:21.8 | fire. |
