Hi there. This is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray through the Bible verse by

verse on this 28th day of September 2025. Hope it's finding you with joy and peace and all the things

that the fruits of the spirit are. May you have love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and

gentleness and all the good stuff,

especially self-control. I know I am raising my hand right now. I need self-control.

And especially patience too. Those are very hard for me to practice. Just standing in the line

today for a breakfast taco and I was so impatient. Like, come on, Mary, don't be so impatient.

The breakfast taco will come in time.

All right, today we're finishing up the book of Philippians, chapter four in the World English Bible.

This is what it says. Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and my crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved. I exhort Eudia and I exhort

Sintechi to think the same way in the Lord. Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women,

for they labored with me in the good news and with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers

whose names are in the

book of life. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again, I will say rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all

man. The Lord is at hand. In nothing, be anxious. But in everything by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving, let your requests

be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your

hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever

things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are

pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report. If there is any virtue

and if there's anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Do the things which you learned,

received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me,
