On Wednesday, the Flyers beat the Penguins in overtime, eliminating them from the NHL playoffs. On Thursday, the Phillies saw twin walk-off wins as they swept a doubleheader, and the Sixers

beat the Celtics to force a game seven in their playoff series.

So, Liz, after weeks of talk about how terrible everything is, are you ready to call Philadelphia

the city of champions?

I mean, am I ready to be disappointed?

Oh, yeah.

I'm ready to call it that and be sad in several months.

Just kind of interesting, given the mood around here.

No, I'm not.

If you squint hard enough, suddenly there was a golden era upon us.

It was kind of nice to have the Phillies buttressed by these two big playoff wins from other teams.

Our hopes in whom vary, depending on personal history and reputation. But we will still have the Phillies for the remainder of the summer, regardless of how long those series go on.

And that's who we're, that's who we're here to talk about today.
