so excited to open the book of Philippians with you. We have our friend now your

friend to you John Greco our content director with us and we're excited to dig

in so let's go.

Don't you feel like Philippians is a little bit like a greatest hits record.

Oh there's so many quoteable quotes as they say in jeopardy.

We're only spending two weeks on the book of Philippians. It's four chapters so

this week you're just gonna read two chapters next week you're gonna read two

chapters. You can sit down and I encourage you honestly to sit down and read

the entire book in one sitting before you begin the two week process with us.

I mean we read the whole book together before hitting record this morning.

10 minutes. And it's you know you know that we actually read truth

encourage you to read scripture in one sitting when you can and so you hear

things differently you get the full context which we know is important. So

anyway this week we're gonna talk about Philippians and then next week we're

gonna talk about Philippians with our good friend Jess Connolly but this week we

just want to like kind of set up the study for you guys kind of talk about

context and author and audience and all of those things. John what can you tell
