And tonight we're starting a new book, the book of Philippians.

And so most of tonight will be my long rambly introduction to the book of Corinthians or not Corinthians, Philippians.

Confused everyone.

Philippians.

So we just finished Ephesians.

Philippians is a book that's a little different in some ways than the other epistles of St. Paul that we've been reading.

So there's some basics that are the same, right?

So St. Paul wrote it. So, and we talked

all the way back in the introduction to the book, St. Paul's Epistle to the Romans. The

introduction to Romans, we talked about what it means that St. Paul wrote it. Right. And we'll reiterate that here, that when we're saying St. Paul wrote these epistles, or

that it's St. Paul's epistle to blank, we aren't saying that St. Paul sat down with a pen

and a papyrus or a pen and a piece of vellum and wrote it by hand.

That is the case for zero of St. Paul's epistles.

We know that for a number of reasons, including the fact that in a few of them, St. Paul will say near the end, for example, see with what large letters I write to
