Verse 9, therefore God also has highly exalted him and given him the name which is above every name,

and that the name of Jesus every knee should bow

of those in heaven and of those on earth and of those under the earth,

and that every tongue should confess that

Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So Christ is exalted back to that position which

he had before, as he himself calls it in St. John's Gospel. The reason I keep going back to St. John's Gospel, again, to show my cards, is our friends

like Bart Ehrman want to do this contrast between, well, here's the early books of the New Testament,

and then here's the later books of the New Testament.

And yeah, when you get to St. John, he thinks Jesus was God,

right? But then these early books, they just thought he was a man, right? Well, St. John's works

are the last ones written. St. Paul's are the first ones written. So if we keep seeing that they

say the exact same thing,

that kind of shoots his whole theory, right?

The apostles are actually all on the same page on this, right?

So he's talking the same way St. John does.

With St. John says that Jesus said, you know,

before his death, he says to his father,

exalt me again to the glory I held with you before the foundation of the world.
