0:19.1	Let's talk a little bit about the book of Philippians.
0:22.3	So I went through as we finished the minor prophets and looked at what books we had not covered yet.
0:28.1	And the book of Philippians, which is a short book, is one of the few books in the New Testament that we haven't covered in the podcast yet.
0:34.9	Or I haven't covered in the podcast yet.
0:36.9	I'm not sure why I looped you into that for a second.
0:39.6	And so I want to do this.
0:41.1	It happens to be one of my favorite of the New Testament books, and let's talk a little bit
0:45.5	about what it's about first.
0:49.3	And this is a letter that is written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Philippi. And if you don't remember
0:57.8	Philippi, Philippi was came up in the book of Acts specifically in chapter 16. And there's a couple
1:06.3	things that are mentioned in that account. And Paul is in Philippi for a relatively short period of time.
1:12.9	He goes from Troas.
1:14.3	He comes over into Greece.
1:15.9	He travels to Philippi, which we learn as a Roman colony.
1:19.9	And the district of Macedonia.
1:22.5	Luke says in the account in Acts that we stayed there for several days.
1:25.8	And then at the Sabbath, we went outside the city gate to the river where we expected to find
1:30.5	a place of prayer.
