Summary
For the past five years, RentMoola has been one of the leading fintech companies in the United States and Canada solving the age-old hassle of paying and collecting rent. Their online global payment system benefits both tenants and property management companies, by allowing anyone, anywhere to pay their rent anytime.
RentMoola's mission to eliminate the rent check, works in a few different ways. A property management company or landlord can enter a tenant's information into the online system or a tenant, him or herself go to the website and do the same. Once the individual's data is submitted, it will go into approval status and then the landlord/management company can accept the funds or approve the submission. Renters can do a one-time payment or set up rolling payments on a monthly basis. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, RM Direct Debit™ or RM Cash™.
In addition to taking the task of paying your rent off your plate each month, with each payment, renters also earn rewards. MoolaPerks, the earned reward by RentMoola, gives users access to exclusive deals and discounts on local and international brands. To maximize rewards, tenants are also using credit cards where they are already earning earn miles or hotel points. RentMoola simply makes paying rent fun and rewarding and allows users to accelerate other reward programs they may already have.
Looking to the future, RentMoola has listened to the feedback and has expanded some of the add-on components to the system. They currently offer four core products including collecting rent and the rewards components and additionally they are adding functions referred to as Acquire (meaning online tenant screening and lease signing from anywhere) and Connect ( simple tasks such as maintenance requests and other communication between the tenant and management company.)
