where I am a tutor in biblical studies. Our guest today is Professor Philip Ziegler,

whose book, Militant Grace, tackles foundational questions resulting from what he calls the apocalyptic turn in Christian theology.

Phil's book encompasses a dizzying array of Christian theologians, from Luther and Calvin to

Kierkegaard and Bart and Bonhoeffer, and somehow he even manages to be conversant with biblical scholars like Ernst Kizemann and J. Louis Martin and John Barclay and Beverly Geventa.
