doing a podcast is getting to introduce you to new friends, but even more fun is introducing

you to friends that you already know about. So I just so thrilled that Phil Wickham is

on today. Though, thank you so much for jumping on the podcast. You kidding me. It's so good

to be on. I'm surprised we're not in the same room because we're practically in the same city,

right? I know we're down the street and it was fun to be with you a couple days ago up in North

County. I just ran to a Texas where I think we were together last time at just to cool down

because San Diego is so stinkin hot. Yeah, what is going on? It's like the heat. What are they

going to like the heat dome or something? It's like an oven. Yeah, so get down here and jump

in the back. Like we really, we've got a place waiting for you. Bring the kids, bring your wife.

Hey, but you say that I got to take you up on that. You say it every time. I'm just going to show up.

Just get here and just bring your beach ball and jump in. People know about you from your singing

and songwriting and all that, but not a lot of people know about you as an author. And I'm always

loving having a new side of somebody shown. So tell us about like a this new book that's out

on our knees. Tell us about why a book and for a guy who writes lyrics, like all of a sudden you're

like writing a whole paragraph. Like let's talk about that. Paragraphs are hard.

Paragraphs are hard. It's like every word is spelled differently. It's crazy. Yeah, you said you

don't you know me about a songwriter, but you don't know me about like as an author. And I would say

kind of the same thing still. I'm like, what am I doing? Putting out a book, Bob, I sometimes I

hits me like, am I is this crazy? You know, but I feel God all over it. And he really

changed my heart and revitalized my heart in a huge way while I was going through this journey.

And I just pray that only pray that it does the same thing for people that grab it. But this
