I'm Phil Schimmett at 205 on a very hot Thursday, although it has cooled down a bit. How much can we

watch the news and listen to the weather on local TV and radio? It's like, okay, it's August in Los

Angeles. We get it. It's hot. Okay. Give me a break. Hydrate, right? That's the key term.

But yeah, it has cooled down a bit. And how about those electric bills? Who! Can Obama, can Obama,

can Trump or Harris do anything about that for us? All right. So I'm Phil Schumann sitting in for

John from one to four today. Really appreciate the opportunity.

If you know, if you've listened to me before and a couple of times I've had a chance to fill

and you know I'm like a huge, huge AM radio, talk radio, audio guy. Always have been since growing up in Boston

listening to the transistor radio late at night not no not with

vinscully here in los angeles uh this is with the red sox and celtics remember johnny most is

anybody with me on johnny most the celtics announcer got a voice like this okay so did you watch

the convention on tuesday michel obama just rocked it, regardless of your politics.

You have to admire Michelle Obama, her style, her grace, her personality, her charm, her,

the way she delivers a speech.

I mean, so many Democrats are saying, wow, I wish she had run.

How come, how come she didn't run? And then former president of Obama comes out, and one of the first things he says is, wow, I wish she had run. How come she didn't run?

And then former President Obama comes out, and one of the first things he says is,

he's the only person stupid enough, his words, to follow Michelle Obama.

But I thought President Obama had some really poignant messages about our society.

In particular, one stuck out to me with our obsession about social

media and cell phones. Let's listen. I know these ideas can feel pretty naive right now.
