having lost my own father a little over a year ago as a father figure myself.

So very excited to welcome Phil Markel, the father of murder victim, Dan Markel, to the show along with my beautiful mother,

Sunday morning. So I just want to say a quick thing and then we'll just get into a conversation here.

This coming week is 10 years since he was murdered of course in that Tallahassee driveway by a bunch of

thugs and then we come to find out over the years that it was a murder for hire plot.

And that person, for now, one is in prison.

And another, it appears is about to head that way.

But the show is not about them. The show today is all about the

Markel family, all about Dan Markel, you know, who he was, who he was raised by
