I'm your host, Kerry Milstein, and I'm excited to have with me again Phil Alred, Dr. Phil Alred from BYU,

Idaho, who if you didn't hear the first time, he was with us back when we did Abraham.

Abraham, too, if I remember right, then you should go back and listen to that one.

Fantastic episode, but I'll just briefly introduce Phil. I'll let him tell

about himself, but I'll just say that there's not many people that I admire as much as I admire

Phil Alred, or that I love as much. We spent a year teaching in Jerusalem together, and I am a

better man for it and a better scholar for it, a better father and husband for it, and a happier person for it.

He is a fantastic individual with amazing insights and a gentle Christ-like way about him, besides being a great scholar and a great teacher.

when I leave here. Kelly, that is a beautiful intro and one I'll work on living up to, very kind of you.

And the sentiment back, I just admire and appreciate so much the great work you're doing. I read

your stuff all the time. I'm sharing it with my students and family and friends.

And that's why everyone in Idaho is sleeping better. That's good. Oh, they're all, they're all

inspired. Let me tell you. So thank you. That was a great year together in Israel. I wish we could

do it again. I'd like that. I would.
