Well, this was not expected at all a complete obliteration of the Toronto Raptors by the Philadelphia 76ers.

It seemed like at the start of the series, Toronto had all the match-up advantages,

and through now three games in this series, that has not proved to be the case in the slightest.

That's a great place to start, and another important part of this game was that I thought Philly out-executed the Raptors.

Pretty consistently, the most notable place there was on defense.

Philadelphia's rotations were excellent. They were really getting out to shooters.

Toronto had weird lapses in transition. They had some close-out problems, including Kauai Leonard.

And so this vaunted defensive personnel for the Raptors, which largely put it together during the

Rhaegor season, struggled, and then the vaunted personnel for the Sixers that largely did not put

it together during the Rhaegor season, that much better obviously, in Jabl and Beads minutes, they really did.

Yeah, and we can start with Embed who had a breakout game, 9-18, 33 points, 12-13 from the foul line,

five block shots that they really caused Toronto problems around the rim,

but they did so many more nice things getting Embed involved.

He was used much more as the screener in pick and roll, really for the first time in his career.

As an option there to attack Marcus Ol, get the ball going downhill towards the rim,

some pick and pop as well. They did some nice screening action away from the ball to get him open.

It really was not the straight post-ups that we've seen so much from him.

Even against Ivaka, they went to more pick and roll with Butler, with Harris, even Ben Simmons as well.

And so that looked really good for the Sixers to get Embed the ball in space,

and he put up those 33 points in a mere 28 minutes.

I was really excited to see the Sixers do more pick and roll based action,

because I think they have reasonable personnel for it. It forces opponents to get a little bit
