It literally is incredibly hot in my house. We don't have air conditioning because it's Berkeley

and it's 90 degrees outside and I can't open a window because that would mess up the audio quality.

So hopefully I do not get too delirious over the course of this podcast. Let's get started

talking about the Sixers, Danny, and their off season. And I think these scenarios are very

firmly delineated for them. While we just start talking first about where they are before,

just if none of their free agents are on the books, what does that look like? And to be clear,

those free agents, Jimmy Butler, at least the significant ones, Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris,

and JJ Raddick as far as the guys who are really a part of this core going.

One of the things that stands out about Philadelphia is just how little they have on the book. So even

if you include the 24th pick in the draft, which they have, that's their own selection. The Sixers

only have 42.5 million on their books. So that means if you wanted to, you know, wipe it all away.

Be somewhere between 60 and 65 million in space, which is an absolute ton. Now, doing so would create

a lot of openings. They would have to fill. I mean, the only guys that would be on the roster then

would be, and be Simmons, Zaire Smith, Jonah Bolden, and that draft. But they do have a lot of,

I guess you could call it flexibility because they have so little actually on their books right now

because they're trying to get a lot on their books this summer. Yeah. And when you throw in,

we'll get to what some of the specific scenarios are in a second. But in general,

I've got them with 58 million or so in space. If they're going to keep the restricted

free agent hold of TJ McConnell on the books and that that first rander is also a project that

they're going to waive Jonathan Simmons who has a million dollars guaranteed this year. You could

also see him just getting traded to a team that has cap space along some cash and wiping that
