Man, what a weekend of basketball. It's been what a fantastic second round. It's been particularly this Sunday night of games and I think we need to start in Philadelphia where the 76ers wasn't in problem. Maybe it was in probably tied this series up at two games a piece.

And I think we have to start again with the earliest revolution of a Watfo in dunked on prime history.

Kudos to James Hardin for making that the case. Hardin knocked out the Watfo. We can pretend that games two and three didn't happen. We can do hard in that additional favor and he still covered it eight.

Sorry, 16 field goals on 23 attempts, six and nine from the field 42 points in 47 minutes for the Philadelphia 76ers as they eaked out a 116, 115 overtime victory.

Lots of discussed down the end of this game. But in case you missed it for an earlier episode, Danny and I discussed the percentage chance that Hardin would not score as many field goals the rest of the series as the 17 that he had in that game one masterpiece and he got there in this one.

And so second 40 point performance of this series by James Hardin second game winning three pointer in the last 20 seconds of the game in this series by James Hardin your mileage may vary on whether this or the game one one was the bigger playoff shot in his career, probably this one with them staring a three one deficit in the face, particularly given how poorly they had played in the fourth quarter and in large swast the overtime as well as the game.

And he just looked sprig and clearly came out with a mindset that he was going to attack early and he missed a couple of laps around the room early, but in the end 17 to 23 was fantastic. He was more under control got to his mid range shot got a huge floater late also and really was the engine that hard and be picking roll for really the first time in this series got going in a way that the Celtics could not deal with that.

And James Hardin being an equal partner if not the superior one to do all and be down the stretch was fantastic for Philly part of what made this even more stunning from a hardened perspective than game one is that this was the shortest turn around in the entire series.

This was about in the 36 hour range it wasn't you know 48 or anything like that because they played the afternoon game in game four after playing in straight evening game in game three.

So I thought that was really going to hurt Philly. I thought that was going to hurt Hardin and be for different reasons hardened because the more resties had the better and be because he's of course coming back from this knee injury.

And it was a great performance overall from from Hardin and had those big shots had the you know I thought I thought that his early his his beginning performance was extremely important as well had a couple of like I think it was more the memory serves was the second quarter.

Yeah 15 points six of eight including three or three from three in that second quarter scored or assisted on a 10 of the 13 Philadelphia made hoops in that quarter.

Yeah and really got Philly out to a mid teens lead in the harden only minutes right at the start of the second quarter and the thing if we're going to kind of go chronologically here.

Well I guess to finish up on a harden he said after game three I usually make pretty good decisions I think I was doing that here but I'll look at the film while clearly when he looked at the film he saw the wasn't making good decisions and that he definitely needed to shoot more and it must be incredibly

very good. I'm sure it's right a game plan against him I guess it's useful that you can at least kind of get an idea of which hard and it's going to be in the game by about through the first quarter and then adjust accordingly but it's got to be pretty crazy to be like okay the sky just either does absolutely nothing or he's going to put 40 points on us and he did it again by the way without the free throw line is too low as free throw games in the series

even just so we did it at actually have been the 240 point or absolutely wild how did you think to all in be looked at their I thought he tired in that second and particularly the fourth it was the second

straight game where Boston is trying to attack him at the R精 in the first half they could just got absolutely nothing they looked awful after a quick six of 8 drag

to start they went on a six out of 28 just absolutely deep freeze and a ton of that was Joël and

first half the Celtics were six of 18 in the paint and only four of seven at the rim just that comically low number of rim attempts for a half and

he was just blocking everything around their terrified of him and then he just didn't have that same level of energy after half time it I don't know that there was some massive adjustment but he just was kind of in that like on the base

side helping without helping on shooters he kind of got stuck above the break a little bit more as well and so Boston hits their first seven shots in the restricted area in the third quarter as they kind of get back into it

cut it to five but then Philly's often started cooking I feel he couldn't hit a three in the first half and particularly in the first quarter and it ended up being a 33 33 third quarter in the end so a lot
