Hello and welcome to the Game 3 podcast offseason preview series where Bryce Simon and I

break down all 30 teams and what they can anticipate and expect for this summer as they try

to reshape their rosters. Today we're talking about the Phoenix Suns where, man, I kind of

enjoyed this Phoenix Sun season. It feels like a lot of Phoenix Suns fans enjoyed this Phoenix Sun's season for a lot of

reasons.

They nailed the coaching hire with Jordan Ott.

He looks like a terrific, like probably top 10 coach in the league for me this year, for

sure, like was deserving of being on coach of the year ballots.

I think they've like completely reshaped the structure and culture of this

organization so quickly under Matt Ishpia, who like, I get that he seems to be very involved

and everything like that, but that dude cares. And I think that's just like a big factor for me

with a lot of ownership.

Like yes, he might meddle and yes, like there might be some annoying moments that happen.

That dude cares.

And it's very clear, like he wants to build the organization in a certain vision.

It probably is somewhat similar to what he grew up playing in college under Tom

iso with like tough defense and everything like that like a really tough mental mindset right

you know what though my biggest thing with teams price is that you need that tone setter from the top you need a structural organizational plan

and I will give the Phoenix Suns this I think they have that structural organizational plan

that they're trying to fit all of their decision making within yeah I mean we talk about it all

the time this kind of a top-down approach and having

everybody on the same page in regards to what that approach is going to be, I think the more
