We're discussing the 12 phases of dying.

Can you define the 12 phases as you understand them?

Sure, absolutely.

We're all spirits attached to a body having a human experience. Most of us have heard that, probably more than once. And as the person is dying for our conversation this evening, Richard, let's say that the person is in a bed just to make it easy.

The first thing that happens is the spirit exits through the top of the head,

and it hangs on to the top of the head.

It looks like a cartoon caption bubble, like a speech bubble,

where the cartoon characters, thoughts, or comments are encapsulated.

And the first spirit to show up is the maternal spirit that raised the person who's dying.

Now, this surprised me. I thought God probably had like a death and dying department where they'd say,

okay, you know, Molly Sews dying in Mississippi, so dispatch a bunch of angels to go help.

And angels are there, but it's the maternal spirit that brings them in, which was a big surprise.

And back to my mom was the first time I saw this, Richard, in 2002.

And it was my me mom.

It was my maternal grandmother, who was the first one to show up and was running the show

from the spirit world.

And then the paternal spirit shows up, the closest person who would be a father figure.

If, let's say, on the maternal figure, if the person who's dying is adopted, it's going

to be the adopted mother's spirit who runs the show
