I got to make the most of it while I'm here I'm really

enjoying it so let's dig in. This is minute 35 of the Phantom Menace it starts off with

Wado informing Quaigon that they do not take Republic credits and it ends a minute later with the gang leaving Waddo's shop.

So a lot of haggling in this.

Yeah, this is probably the source of a lot of the controversy about Waddo, maybe seeming a little bit

to like a Jewish stereotype.

Yeah.

You know, it's unfortunate, and I do get it but on the other hand he delivers what has become my children's favorite line

And this is only I should explain it's not a really notable line except that it happens to be in the Star Wars app if you're going through the little sound there have a sound board in the app that you can play different clips and for whatever reason they decided this one had to get in there

amidst the like use the force and you know like do or do not there is no try here you go with

Mind tricks don't work on me only money

Just the way the cadence of his delivery is so funny to me and weird and I just like I I love doing it I love saying it and I just bother my kids with it all the time and they

do it back to me.

But it is a fun honestly like if you put aside the racist stereotype it's a like

what I was actually pretty funny in this moment like and it's it's a funny

interaction with like you know Liam Neeson being a great straight man or just a really

emotionless robot.

It's a fine line between.
