Christie is a six-time Cross Fit Games athlete and she's on a quest for her seventh Cross Fit Games appearance this year.

After moving to San Diego for her training in 2015, Christie is now back home in

she's had to overcome some enormous physical and psychological challenges

with a torn bicep that required surgery. We had the chance to catch up during a recent visit

to a Rasty Rehab Center's headquarters to talk about the impact of her

injury, her rehab course, and her future plans to combine her experiences as a
