Summary

Well, it had been a long time since they forgot to hit the record button but all good streaks come to an end. This is a re-load after it was discovered the first 25 minutes of the first run were not being recorded. NEVERTHELESS, Andy and Brendan get right back on the horse and deliver this peppy, puzzled, enthusiastic, skeptical, and amused recap of the Senate committee hearings on the PGA Tour and PIF deal. They discuss some of the Senators’ antics, the performances of Ron Price and Jimmy Dunne, and the implications of their testimony. They also get into the document dump that occurred alongside the live hearing and how the picture it paints, combined with the testimony, seems to strengthen the PIF’s negotiating position over the next five months. There’s also a lot of reaction to some of the proposals, realistic and fantastical, in the documents as well as the botched rollout of the deal. Then the schedule for the week starts at the great Barbasol Championship with another rousing round of In, Out, Alternate? There’s some Scottish Open chatter as well as LPGA and Senior Major coverage to close it out.

1:31.0	Got it. Got it. Throw big ups to our guy, shade bacon, unbelievable achievement. He qualifies for the USAM today out in I think New York, maybe Connecticut, maybe New York, Bonnie Breyer.
1:44.0	Sounds like a wonderful place. Also Luke Colton gets out there, 14 year old stud player. But anyways, congrats to Shane.
1:54.0	39 years young, qualifying for his first USGA event. It is an incredible achievement and I'm so excited for him out there doing it and getting it done.
2:08.0	And he's in for a real treat. USGA events are amazing experiences and you really got to earn it. I mean, he's he's been grinding at this whole life and getting in one.
2:21.0	Especially that one, the USAM, this is one of the hardest, you know, outside the US, the hardest one to get in.
2:29.0	Very legitimate, very big type of championship. We have our event, the Friday event, a common ground that weekend, which I'm sure he will still be playing in whatever that is, the round of eight quarters, something like that on the Saturday.
2:41.0	We'll be out there Friday, Saturday. We'll be going to watch him. I'm sure he will still be advancing through the back at or he'll stay and come to the event at common ground where it's kind of a dual thing.
2:50.0	So Friday event in the USAM, congrats to Bacon, like a really, really great achievement victory.
2:55.0	Victory Wednesday is the 1% moment 99% of the time golf kicks you in the kicks you in the teeth. He got it done. Got it done that 1% saver it and that's for everybody.
