Our top story this week is once again guns.

On Tuesday, in a highly emotional speech, President Obama announced executive actions intended to expand background checks for firearms purchases, largely by

broadening the definition of who will be considered a gun dealer. Expanding the definition will

require more people who sell guns to register and conduct background checks on potential

gun buyers. And I think the initial response was best summed up by an NRA lobbyist who said,

this is it, really? They're not really doing anything.

And now that NRA lobbyist, I think, was chastives, I think, for actually, you know, committing

the crime or the indiscretion of actually speaking her mind in the case. And the NRA later, you

know, later went with their standard.
