Summary

An investigation was published recently in the British Medical Journal that outlined how Pfizer failed to disclose to pregnant women the risks that were potentially present in their vaccine trials. 🇺🇸 Epoch Times 25¢ Sale: https://ept.ms/RomanSale1

Despite the fact that another clinical trial (from a different company, but testing a similar drug) was forced to shut down, and despite the fact that Pfizer themselves were studying premature births as an “adverse event of special interest,” they did not inform the pregnant women in their clinical trial.

But the story gets wilder: these facts weren’t forthcoming. Instead, the researchers at the British Medical Journal had to do serious leg work in order to figure all this out.

An investigation was recently published in the pages of the British Medical Journal,

0:18.1

outlining how Pfizer failed to disclose to pregnant women the risks that were potentially

0:23.0

present in their vaccine trials.

0:25.0

Specifically, quote, even though Pfizer knew about the potential safety signal and was studying

0:29.5

preterm births as an adverse event of special interest, it continued to enroll women in

0:34.1

its clinical trial and did not fully inform participants of the risks the vaccine may

0:38.4

pose to their babies, and in some cases provided misleading and contradictory statements.

Now, the vaccine in question here is for something known as RSV, and in case you've never

0:49.3

heard of it before, RSV, also known as respiratory syncytial virus, is essentially just another

name for the common cold.

Those include things like runny nose, sore throat, coughing, as well as a headache.

And what happened about two years ago, was that both Pfizer, as well as another company

1:05.4

called GlaxoSmithClient, which is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the

1:08.8

whole world, they were both developing an RSV vaccine that they were testing on pregnant

1:12.8

women.

1:13.8

However, what happened was that in February of last year, during phase three of their clinical

1:18.7

trial, GSK had to stop the trial over a possible increased risk of both premature births,

1:24.8

as well as neonatal deaths in vaccinated participants, which is, as you can imagine, a horrifying

1:29.6

prospect for pregnant women.

1:31.3

According to the investigation that was done by the British Medical Journal, quote,

1:34.6

immediately after becoming informed of the safety signal, GSK informed health authorities

1:39.3

and updated its consent forms.
