Well, today is what is known as PFF Day. We're going to go through that. Real quick, want to touch on what we heard from Matt LaFleur. It sounds like a lot of what

we're hearing is speculation. In fact, the press conference with Matt Lafleur started with somebody saying,

hey, sounds like a positive report from Jordan Love, and Matt Lafleur saying,

yeah, I don't know.

First of all, and second of all, you shouldn't know that.

Because wherever that report came from, it better not have come from inside this building.

So I don't know.

I don't know, but there's nothing from the team that is, and I think that's to be expected.

Even if they have some kind of an idea, they're not going to tell us anything, at least

until Wednesday when they're required by the NFL to tell people at least a little something.

That's also the case, at least is my understanding, for Evan Williams and Jaira Alexander.

At least from what we've heard from Matt LaFleur, there isn't a ton. Now, he did sort of corroborate

what I had said about losing Evan and how big of a deal that was. He mentioned

that it set off a chain reaction on the back end. So, you know, even if they knew Evan wasn't going to

be able to play, perhaps it could have given these guys a little bit of an opportunity to get

involved in that game plan, you know, where they were going to use them and how they were going

to be used and kind of working through that as opposed to the way it all worked out. But, you know, these are two of

the most consequential people on our defense right now, along with Xavier McKinney. So hopefully

...
