discussing Peter Vermeza's departure from Kansas City.

I was receiving some interesting texts from Taylor Rockwell yesterday while the other three guys were recording the Patreon episode.

I have not yet been able to listen to that Patreon episode.

I have no idea what wonders away. I can't remember how we, we stumbled upon the names that become nicknames when you add a why to them. So Joe becoming Joey, Reginald becoming

Reggie, that sort of thing. And then we were speculating on whether or not Joe would be okay

with it. And that led to a lengthier conversation that I think ended with Ryan wondering how you would feel about baby kangaroo. And we didn't get it on the Patreon, but Joe confirmed later on that he was a big fan. Yeah, 100% down. I've never received that before. So this is sort of new ground for me. But I'm absolutely not mad at it. Here we are. All right. Here we are. I'm joining us is Jeff. I don't yet have a baby animal nickname. Ruder Jeff. We were discussing nicknames yesterday. Were you ever a Jeffie? I wasn't a Jeffie, but it's like I was born a Jeff. I was born a Jeffrey. And so it's one of those where it's like you don't really just cut out the R and the E. you're going to like wholesale it like, no, don't you see I'm no longer a Jeffrey. I'm a Jeff. I've grown up. There we go. Okay. Yeah. Jeffie was somehow even younger than Jeffrey. So I kind of skipped that step. Do you need a baby animal nickname? Should Joe be working on that as we record? We all need baby animal nicknames right now in this current social climate.

Baby Loon?

You've got the Minnesota connection. Baby loon works. Baby Loon, if you will. If it's not baby deathloon, I don't want it. That's all I'm saying. Oh, wow. Okay. We started off on a note. Deep Lour. Well, speaking of departures, after 16 years at the helm in Kansas City, Peter Vermeis and Sporting KC have mutually agreed to part ways.

Vermease coached Sporting KC in over 600 games, winning MLS Cup once, US Open Cup three times.

He became the first person to win MLS Cup as both a player and then a coach.

However, Sporting KC started the season in rough fashion, one point from their first six games, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the Western Conference table.

The Joe, he is an institution, and when he took over, Rames, took over from Kurt Anolfo, knew the end of the 2009 season.

They were still the Wizards.
