message here's pastor Chuck. So we turn now to 1st Peter chapter 3 as Peter addresses himself to the wives.

This particular section goes back to

verse 13 of chapter 2 submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the

Lord's sake whether to to King as supreme, governors and to them sent to the punishment

of evil doers, so it is the will of God that in well doing you may put to silence the ignorance

of foolish men.

So the idea of submitting to one another in love.

And so he talks about, first of all,

the servants submitting themselves unto their own masters.
