presence in your life. Well, I often ask God, and I'm sure you do too, open the eyes of my heart.

You remember maybe the song, but it's also in scripture. It's a biblical prayer. You know,

there are things we see that the rest of the world misses because God has actually given us eyes to see them.

You know, there's still things we miss for any number of reasons, and the good news is that

God delights to open our eyes to see things the way he does.

And as I was prepping for today's show, I was pondering this amazing passage from Ephesians

1, verse 17 to 23.

Just listen to this.

Don't you just love God's word?

I love it. Listen, I keep asking that the

God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation

so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that

you may know the hope to which he's called you the riches

of his glorious inheritance and his holy people and the incomparably great power for us who believe

that power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead

and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms far far above all rule and authority and power and dominion,

and every name that is invoked not only in the present age, but also the one to come.
