Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of the Creative Exchange. I say this is a special one a lot,

but this is really a special one. You're in my office. This is so exciting. I think this is like

the first podcast and the Peter McKinnon podcast set up, even before you've done a podcast. Yeah, we

basically set this whole thing up. We've never used it. I've never used these mics. I've never even like, this is completely new. This is the Genesis. Wow. So I get to test it out. So I'm here with Peter

McKinnon, everyone. I'm sure everyone knows who you are. Maybe, maybe not. But for the two people

who don't, you want to just give us kind of an overlay where your YouTube channel is about. Who are you, Peter McKinnon? Okay, so I am, I would say I'm a photographer.

People would be like, but you're a vlogger and you make films and you do filmmaking and teach filmmaking.

And yes, that's true. I love it.

But primarily, first and foremost, I would identify as a photographer.

So I'm a photographer that makes videos on YouTube about how to take better photos,

make better videos, all that stuff. And then I kind of supplement that with vlogs and fun things

and fun content that's not always just about learning, learning, learning, learning. I try to

implement those things that I'm teaching into just regular videos and stuff that people can

identify with. So kind of like a

little bit of a mix bag. When did you start your YouTube channel? Because as of right now, he has

2.5 million subscribers. Yeah, it's wild. I this December will be two years from from the start date.

Wow. Yeah, it's been crazy.

That is insane.

I kind of think that it's like I'm being trolled and like Ashton Kutcher is going to come

out from under this desk and be like, ah, you're just waiting for the moment.

You thought you actually did that on your own?

I'll be like, oh, I knew it was something.
