Already I can feel there's a real buzz around Washington right now. You can sense that there's a new

leader in town that he's a true one-off, a pioneer in business and in politics. Many people love

him. Others love to hate him.

But to us, he's just Peter.

That was Prime Minister Kier Starrma, speaking in Washington, D.C., just a little over a year ago.

He may have been just Peter then, but today, for the Labour government, he's just a nightmare.

That's because the scandal around former US ambassador and House of Lords member Peter Mandelson's links to the paedophile financier billionaire Jeffrey Epstein only continue to grow.

Just before we came on air, the Times political editor posted this breaking news on X.

Exclusive, Lord Mandelson will face a full criminal investigation to allegations that he leaked market-sensitive information from Downing Street to the paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein,

the Times, has been told. Documents released by the US DOJ appeared to show that Madelson

provided Epstein with details of internal government discussions known only to a handful of people

at the top of government on at least four occasions when he was business sector in 2009, that of course
