Now, the last time we saw each other, we were in even more salubrious surroundings than this.

We were at the King's Awards for Enterprise, which obviously sort of celebrates the best of British business at Winter Castle.

What stands out for you on evenings like that?

Well, just the sheer breadth of talent and where it comes from. The great thing about that was just walking around. I met people

from the northeast. You meet people from all parts of the country and they're all totally thrilled

to bits to be there. And it was just lovely.

And I met businesses who were really small, very community-based, but doing extraordinary things.

And I'm always aware that right now, up and down the country, there are people who are doing things in a new way.

They're doing things that are genuinely impactful for people's lives and creating wealth
