0:28.0	It's a labor of love. We both feel immense passion for this woman. We both want to bring her back in a big meaningful way as a mentor for society today
0:37.7	because she's just extraordinary her moral courage her moral ferocity her her moral clarity, it's everything we need now across the media, across

0:51.3	And the life she lived was just adventurous and free-spirited and romantic and
0:56.8	beautiful and brave and we all need that in our own personal lives.
1:00.3	We all need a good shot of courage from Dorothy Thompson today.

1:05.0	And that's what she was like for her friends, for her circle of friends.
1:08.0	She was just endlessly enthusiastic.
1:09.9	Yes, she was.
1:11.9	I want to share with you, Peter, that since we last spoke in our interview,
1:17.0	I went to the Met Museum because they just finished an exhibit called Art for the Millions, Culture in the 1930s.
1:25.0	Oh.
1:26.0	And it was really interesting, and I've gone to quite a number of exhibits about the 1930s
1:31.0	and all sorts of museums dedicated to art deco and so on because I was doing all the
1:35.6	research for my film Mr Jones and so this exhibit was funny because right off the bat
1:42.4	it explains to you how FDR invested millions, a massive amount
1:50.0	of taxpayer money into the arts. Oh absolutely yes. As part of the revival of the
