This National Foster Care Month, Marine Toys for Tots, is providing hope to children who needed most.

Staff Sergeant James Caldwell, who grew up in foster care himself, shares that while handing out gifts at a Toys for Tots distribution event,

a little girl looked up at him, reached into her bag, pulled out a stuffed animal, and said,

Is that correct there, Peter King?

It certainly is, and, you know, there's talk of getting you an honorary diploma.

I think I'd mail mine back in if they give you a diploma, Curtis. I mean, my God, it's terrible. Now, listen, actually, you know, if the record is there academically, you were more than able to graduate. Yes. You stood up for principal. You got into a fight with the Jesuits. and as you know and I know in those days nobody won the fight against the Jesuits

It was a fight over student rights.

And so I give you credit for standing up.

But I love to say, though, I graduated and you didn't.

Well, I must say that the headmaster, Father Jack Alexander, taught me a good

lesson that there are consequences for your actions. So if you take a stand, whether you're right or

you're wrong, you must assume there are consequences for your actions. They gave me a second
