Hello and welcome to this week's ringside toe-to-to-to-to-the-sky sports boxing podcast. I'm Barry Jones and this week I'm joined by two trainers or should I say teachers of the sport

Gary Logan and Peter Fury welcome guys yes a long day today so far yes yeah

I've been enjoyable.

We've been a job. We've actually, Gary, because we thought we lost you.

No, man, you're never going to lose me. You're never going to lose me. I'll

always turn up when I'm needed. But of course, Peter, we've got you in today,

Pete. Obviously, you've got a couple of fighters

who are coming up with a couple of big fights, hopefully,

in the pipeline, but we wanted to really start off

by talking about not so much your career as a trainer, but how you got into the sport of boxing

okay well like I said our family goes back into boxing for a long long time even

well before I was born so it's been as a young like growing

up we was always in boxing gyms and stuff like that my career took another path

altogether so always in trouble and many fights outside of them so

to speak and you know that was it and I never really never even envisaged that I was going to train boxes or anything.

So it came about because my son he went amateur boxing, Uy.

And he could, you know, one day he said to his mother,

you know, I said to his mom and said he's losing one or two fights

that he shouldn't even be losing the slot.
