Well, I'm in the US, so it's been particularly bad in the US because much facet when the previous

president launched his campaign, it probably was based on an anti-China agenda from the US,

but then became a sort of a trade war and just lots of rhetoric that's been picked up by a huge

number of people in the US and pushed and funded. I mean, that's an incredible effort from everything

from Fallon Gong to the Miles Gowell camp, Steve Bannon's group, pushing the conspiracy

theories around China. It's a part of an anti-China political rhetoric, so it's useful to them.

And they're fond of it and pushing it and science has been so much stent cold up in that to other

instance absolutely crushed by it. And what I mean by crushed is we've not had access to working

China on the origins for the last 12 months, which is ironic because we could have been on the

ground there working with our Chinese colleagues. And by now we may have had some really important

analysis to have emerged. The rhetoric has held that up. So it's, these politics are not there

to help find the origins. They're simply there to help one political party win. And that's the problem

and people have caught up in that. I wish they would wake up and realise that to some extent

science has been used and abused in that state. Wow. The science is being used and abused

says Dr Peter Dashak from the Echo Health Alliance. But who is Dr Peter Dashak? And why is he so quick

to lay the blame not at the feet of the Chinese Communist Party for withholding data and with

holding evidence and stopping the world from really seeing what went on at the Wuhan lab?
