My guest this week is a man with a wealth of Formula One experience,

whose perspective on the sport is both unique and fascinating.

He worked for Lotus under Colin Chapman, then Williams under Sir Frank,

then Benaton alongside Flavio Breatori only to return to Lotus with Mickahackenan and Johnny Herbert.

The man I'm talking about is Peter Collins.

Now Peter may not be a household name, but for 20 years he was at the epicenter of Formula One.

As I've already mentioned, he worked alongside some of the great personalities in Formula One history,

and that's to say nothing of the list of fabulous drivers on his CV.

Peter championed and advised the likes of Nigel Mansl, Mario Andretti,

Keke Rosberg, Gerhard Burger, Johnny Herbert and Mickahackenan with Mickah,

even doing the school run for his daughter Sam during his team Lotus days.

Peter experienced the highs and the lows of Formula One.
