Ole Miss, as you probably are aware about now, lost at home to Kentucky, 20 to 17 on Saturday afternoon.

The rebels now 4 and 1 overall 0 in the SEC.

They dropped to number 12 in the Associated Press poll.

They hit the road this week for the first of two straight SEC road games.

Up next, South Carolina.

The Gamecocks off last weekend after beating Akron a week ago.

The Gamecox three and one overall, one in the SEC,

having defeated the same Kentucky Wildcats at home,

or in Lexington, I should say, and then lost at home in a very narrow 36 to 33,

somewhat controversial game to the LSU Tigers.

LSU, by the way, on deck for Ole Miss in Baton Rouge.

That game, no surprise, 630 on ABC.

It's the third game of a triple header that day that features South Carolina at Alabama,

Texas and Oklahoma meeting in Dallas, and then Ole Miss at LSU. So next Saturday should be

an interesting day of football, but quite frankly, we're not there yet. We got to get through

South Carolina first, Pete, and we'll start on looking back at what happened to Kentucky.
