All right, as I start this show, I need to start off with an apology.

0:13.9

That's where I need to start.

0:15.5

By the way, it's great to be with you for another week.

0:17.5

I'm Pete Mundo.

0:18.7

We're Heartland College Sports Weekly, part of

0:20.8

Heartland College Sports.com. You're independent, big 12, digital media outlet. It's great to be here

0:28.3

with you. So last week, we started off the show talking about the recruiting rankings.

0:34.7

That's what we talked about last week. And a lot of you got on me, email,

0:42.1

1:41.1

talk about the fact that the total number of points in the recruiting rankings

1:45.6

that like 247 sports uses is not entirely the best way to do it because the more recruits

1:51.2

you have, the more points you have. So it skews towards that. Example, Kansas 6th and the

1:56.2

Big 12 in recruiting, their average recruit is an 84.77, which on an average basis, would be last in the
