We first met in 2000. I was thinking about 2008. I came to Belfast.

Can I tell you that story from my perspective?

I can't wait. Yeah. I had heard of you, right? You know, you were a big guy doing things. I was in Northern Ireland, Belfast doing a very small thing called Icon. And, you know, we were doing a few festivals. It was very small. And then I got an email out of the blue from this guy, Rob Bell. And I got, I've heard of Rob Bell. And you said, going to be in Belfast, do you want to hang out? And I was like, yep, absolutely. And you said, well, I'll be at this train station at like 10 o'clock. And I said, okay, I'll go to the train station at 10 o'clock. And I was standing there. I've never seen as tall a man in my life before. It's like, it's true.

It's like the land of giants America.

This guy comes off the train. And I say to you, I go like, oh yeah, what are you doing in Belfast? And you're like, I've just come to see you. I'm like, oh, I thought you just happened to be in Belfast. We were going to hang out for an hour. and you're, oh no, I just flew out to see you.

And then you were going down south to, I think, see... I think I stayed for like three days.

I think I stayed for like three days. Yeah. I thought we were going to hang out for an hour. It was a nightmare. Couldn't get rid of him. We went up the North Coast and we just hung out. I was very surprised. I'm very honored.

I remember, I think we talked for three days straight.

Yeah.

And I remember part way through, like multiple days in, he was like, when is your event? Yeah. I was the events. I didn't know I was the events. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And there was some sort of love and connection and like, oh, I guess we're going to be friends for a long time.
