I'll be honest with you, I haven't done a whole lot of work on the quarterbacks.

I feel really good about where our quarterback room is, even though we're not naive to the fact that

Matthews hopefully got a couple more years that he wants to play, but he's also earned the right

to be able to say if after this year, hey, I'm going to go ahead and hang them up, but I'm hopeful

that that's not the case.

But I haven't done enough more to really have an educated opinion on that.

That's not something that I would see is going, but maybe not.

Oh, one of the little nuggets that got lost in the cracks from last Tuesday, the NFC coach's breakfast, Sean McVeigh,

the day after I had a chance to talk to him outside and it was hot and he was sweating and I was sweating and it was crazy.

But, you know, look, I always wonder where the misdirections are. And there's an

incentive to not wear your intention on your sleeve. There really is. Right. You don't want

everybody to know you're looking at a quarterback, but you also don't want

everyone to think you're out of the quarterback business altogether.

I think you want to be as unpredictable as possible so that when your spot is approaching,

if someone is inclined to try to get past you, they don't know what you're going to do.

Exactly.

So if they want a quarterback, the Rams aren't taking one, or are they taking one,

or aren't they taking one?

Look at one.

Chris, why wouldn't he have done work on the quarterbacks?

Why wouldn't you look at who's all available?

Because you just might need someone?
