For the Mets, they're kind of starting from scratch.

They tried to go all in right out of the gate, pedal to the metal, didn't work.

So now Steve Cohen is learning to build it the right way.

However, while I agree with what Anthony said, and the Mets have a plan and long-term vision, they'll be fine and willing to spend all that stuff that was never even there with prior ownership, it's there now.

At some point, you do need to see the results. And also in this year, even in a year

where they're not going all in, like, you still need a little bit more. I'm talking about

building a respectable team. They're not respectable. They're not respectable right now. I got a question

for you. When you say you believe in the long-term vision, and I understand why you're saying that,

because I do think the Mets hired somebody very smart and stern. So I'm with you. I just need a little bit of a definition,

like long-term plan. Like, when do you think, based on what they've done so far, based on the minor

leagues, based on anything else you want to incorporate, when do you think the Mets will be

really good and more importantly, really good and sustain it?

Like the Astros, like the Yankees many times, like the Dodgers, like the Braves, like teams like that.

Give me a year-ish.
