Now I will tell you what person though who has been doing a great job with the bat and with the defense that I do not want to see go.

I'm tired of the nonsense with Pete Alonzo because all I hear about is he's a one tool player he's a big

chute who just its home runs that's it now do I disagree do I agree that he does

it on runs yes he's a he's a home run hitter. No doubt about it.

Is it a little annoying that right now this season he hasn't, he hasn't really performed in a big spot.

Yeah, there's been some moments that he's come up small.

But that's not how it's been his career.

Like everyone sits there and talks about Peter Lonzo's career and how he's always

hitting big home runs in small spots. How about you look back? How about you look back?

How about you look back especially in the 101 win season when they're walking off the Cardinals you know in extra innings or the ninth inning or whatever it was like Peter Wanso has made some had some big opportunities, big moments, and he's delivered.

I know we don't want to think that because we want to just look at what he's done right now in the past year,

and it hasn't been great. Okay, that's fine. I get it.

But he's not a one tool player.

He's not one dimensional.

He's not someone that just hits home runs.

He does get on base other ways.

He can hit doubles. He's, listen, he hit a rocket in the first

inning I think it was or the second inning where, where someone just was positioned properly but he smoked that bull he

went to talk about exit Vilo he hit the hardest bull of the game in

160 miles per hour I mean what are you going to do about that he crushed it it just you know the the defense was positioned properly I know it didn't go over the fence but he smoked that ball. It happens. He is still, his timing is picking up, it's getting better.

And then on top of that, on top of the fact that his offense is picking up, again, you want to sit there and we'll, we'll, we'll nitpick the, and it was an awful streak. I'm not going to dismiss it, but he did go like what one for 30 something or two for 45 at some point in time

this season which completely tanked his stats, tanked his average, tanked his on base, tanked his on base, tanked his his oPS, tanked everything. That was a bad moment
