But if you roll up to your local store with a horse or a couple of goats, they're probably not going to be able to help you out very much.

That is, unless you live in Texas, where the company just launched the first neighborhood farm and pet supply.

The new smaller format stores, a one-stop shop designed for customers who need products for larger farm animals and livestock,

as well as for dogs, cats, and guinea pigs.

Petco plans to open a handful of stores through the end of the year to test the concept in rural markets,

which are, quote, rapidly growing, according to the company. Neighborhood farm and pets supply

will be focused on providing high-quality animal food and products, and will also offer
