Summary

We believe the bible is the greatest story ever told. But studying the scriptures can often feel like getting lost in a maze. What does all of it mean? How do all of these unique books and stories connect? This week we are joined by our good friend Dr. Mark Yarbrough, President of Dallas Theological Seminary. Dr. Yarbrough brings us on a journey from Genesis to Revelation and shows us how the narrative of the scriptures is one cohesive and united story of God's redemptive work.

0:17.6	I had a very dear friend of mine who has since gone on to glory, one of my
0:21.1	mentors in the faith. He was a pastor and for many years he actually
0:26.2	pastored at a couple of different churches around the country towards the
0:29.4	latter years of his life. He'd always grown up in the city, but the Lord called
0:34.0	him to a rural church in Oklahoma. So you got city slicker, right, pavement
0:43.0	dweller, moving to the country. And what happened there was an amazing thing.
0:47.8	He was just this contagious guy. And I mean people love him wherever he goes.
0:53.4	And so the kids of the church, the youth of the church, they connected to
0:58.0	Chuck. And they decided, if they got to know him, he was a prankster and they
1:02.8	loved him in a joke all the time was coming out of his mouth. He was smiling
1:06.9	vivacious. And so they decided what they were going to do is that they were
1:10.7	going to pull a big joke on Chuck. And they were going to take him to something
1:14.8	called a corn maze. Anybody ever been to a corn maze in the room?
1:20.4	Seriously, we've got like five hands out there. You're a bunch of pavement
1:24.0	dwellers. Okay, here we go. Okay, so when I'm talking corn maze, I'm talking
1:27.7	this. If you have never been to a corn maze, it's a maze that is cut into a
1:32.5	corn field and all these elaborate schemes, we just thought aliens did it,
1:36.2	right? You know, and it's like a programmed combine and they go in and put
1:39.6	all these things in. And they're stunning. They're not little. They're four,
