He doesn't always answer prayers on our timetable.

But that doesn't mean that he is unmoved by our cries or that he is unresponsive to our needs.

I asked our studio audience this question.

How has the Lord been your strength? How has he been your shield?

How have you trusted in him? How has he helped you in this past year?

A woman named Christine shared a heart-wrenching trial

that she and her family faced a year ago in December of 2021. We had a very close

friend and my sister sick with COVID, one hospitalized, one bearing it

out at home, praying for both of them to live, one didn't and one did. So my sister is living

but our good friend passed. He was only 52 leaving behind a young widow,

Christine's best friend.

So how did Christine and her friends and family

make it through?

Just praying obviously through that, you know, for the Lord's strength and crying out to him with everything

we had and just trusting him that he is God, he knows best, and understanding that he is a good father

and he desires good gifts for his children.
