Hello, amigos!

Hey friends, it's your amigos Evan and Vanessa.

This announcement might sound a little different to you,

and it's because we're recording it on my cell phone.

We usually spend a lot of time recording and editing things to make them sound nice,

but this time we're not able to use all the tools we usually use to make episodes sound special.

That's right. We actually had plans to be releasing some really magical stories this week,

and we plan on getting back to those as soon as we can,

but unfortunately, we had to evacuate our home that we're staying in an Oregon

because there were big wildfires that are not really making it safe to be there right now at the moment.

We're really lucky to have a place to stay right now.

Vanessa's Tia and Abuelo, or her aunt and grandpa, let us move in with them for a little bit.

And we've brought our gatos along, our little kitties, Banyan, and Olive.

So we've all been cozying up together this past week.

That's right. It's been really nice to be with our gattitos and our familia.

Yeah, so I know it might sound a little bit scary for some of you all to be thinking about a

big fire and even grownups might be a little scared too.

But we have a really special quote from one of our favorite people in the whole wide

world that we always try to remember when we're feeling a little scared.

It's a quote from Mr. Rogers and it goes like this.

When I was a young boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me,

look for the helpers.
