Father we thank you that Jesus is a risen Savior. We thank you that the Bible is a living book,

and we pray now that as we take our Bibles and look into them,

that the Holy Spirit whom Jesus sent will so enable us and so illuminate the printed page

that we might meet the risen Christ in the pages of this living book, for it's in his name we pray
