Can you believe this show has been running for 10 YEARS! Today’s guest was one of my earliest guests, and long time friend, Jasmine Star. Jasmine is a photographer, business strategist and founder of Social Curator. If you're an OG listener, you'll hear some behind the scenes stories of some our collaborations, including the internet’s first ever LIVE wedding (where Jasmine taught CreativeLive’s first wedding photo class - attended by 150,000 students!) More important than reminiscing, though, we go deep on finding your voice, adopting children, homemade tortillas, dropping out and reinventing yourself in an entirely new career.
Jasmine's journey is one that many creatives can identify with, from facing difficult times, how she found her feet and her personal process of transitioning from one career to another. She articulates how to make that transition and gives us very practical advice that will add heaps of value to you.
We also talk about...
Jasmine is so good, so fun, and I can’t wait for you to hear the show.

1:06.6 | of invention and reinvention of finding your creative voice and of course we talk about making |

1:29.9 | experience. She called herself a photographer before she even owned a camera. What I love about |
1:35.8 | this, well, first of all, Jasmine is a firecracker and brilliant. You're going to be very, very |
1:40.3 | inspired. But this is a journey that so many creators that I know have traveled. It is a journey through curiosity, through struggle. She talks. She's very, very good at not gold plating her grit. She shares some stories, some intimate stories about where she really struggled when she was crying on the floor, didn't think that she could possibly go on. And then she somehow |
2:02.1 | found a way to go on as I like to think all of us can. And so this story is hers is an inspirational |
2:09.9 | one. And it's also completely riddled and filled with very, very tactical pieces of |
2:15.8 | advice because Jasmine is a professional speaker. |
2:18.4 | She speaks on stages all over the place. |
