It's a new school year, and this year, the average American household will spend

$864 on back to school shopping. 40% higher than before the pandemic.

Like everything else, the cost more parents can blame inflation.

It's beyond the basics. Tape is up almost 70%. Glue, 30%. Sneakers, 12% and backpacks,

up 2%. 2% backpack. Almost half again more than it was pre-pandemic. That's a lot. 40%.

That's unbelievable. I don't remember what stuff used to cost. Why is he's

tape up so much? I bought just some paper for the printer and a lock for his locker and

just some stuff like that. It was crazy how much it cost when I got up there to

make for. Just everything is so much more expensive. Seriously, though, tape?

What is 3M gouging us now or what? I can't think his chemicals from China.

It's called inflation. Well, yeah, no, but why would tape be up that much?

It's crazy. Of course, what I know about tape is nothing other than it's sticky on one side

generally and not sticky on the other. Unless you get your double-sided tape, which is a miracle

...
