I've got to tell you, as I am reading fiction so much right now, delving into it all types of fiction, women's fiction,

what they sometimes call upmarket fiction, commercial fiction, all of it. And one book that's

been trending, let's say, for years now, or one series is the housemaid series. You may have seen

this in a bookstore. You may have learned that it's going to be a movie coming out, I believe,

in December this year, with Sidney Sweeney, who's arguably like one of the most in-demand

actresses right now, am I right? And Amanda Seyfried.

And I forget the name of the actor, but he was in The It Ends with Us movie with Justin Baldoni.

I forget his name, but he was the other character in that movie.

So you can see it's got a big budget.

I believe there's already the sequel in the making

because the housemaid is a series of books. I actually don't know how many, but I read the first one

and I've got the two sequels right now on my bedside table. Why am I telling you this?

You're like, okay, who cares? Okay, you got some fiction books. What's up with

this? I'm going to tell you, my friends, this is endlessly fascinating and inspiring to me.

The person who writes these books, her pen name is Frida McFadden, meaning it's not her real name. It's a name that she came up

with as an author because she is a practicing neurologist. This woman is a full-time doctor,

and she balances her creative life as a fiction author, a very prolific fiction author,

and her day-to-day job at the same time. In fact, when I did a bit of research, I understood that

she started self-publishing these books during downtime in her hospital shifts. Isn't that incredible? Permission to be more than one thing? Look,
